Agustín Lara and María Grever were famous iconic Mexican singers and composers of the bolero, this Saturday, November 4th at Casa Haas they will be remembered by privileged voices in the evening “María y Agustín… songs by Grever and Lara.”
It will be at 7:00 p.m. when soprano Alehlí Montelongo, tenor Luis García and baritone Juan Fernando Martínez, accompanied by maestro Sergio Castellanos on the piano, will pay this well-deserved musical tribute on a great night of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2023.
Grever (1885-1951) and Lara (1897-1970) were prominent figures of the plethora of prolific composers of the romantic genre in Mexico, their songs: “Alma mía”, “Mujer”, “Cuando vuelva a tu lado”, “Piensa en mí”, “Despedida”, “Cada noche un amor”, “Lamento gitano”, “Silverio”, “Así”, “Farolito”, “Tipitipin”, “Amor de mis amores”, and “Te quiero dijiste”, among others, guarantee a captivating musical encounter.
