My name is Avner Eisenberg and I am a clown! This is how the expert in the art of “clowning” comes along, who arrives with his show “Exceptions to Gravity” at the Angela Peralta Theater this Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
Six years ago, Avner brought to the port a similar spectacle that means a work of life for him since he has been on stage for more than 40 years. The story follows a common thread and at the same time mixes with the spontaneity that arises from the realization that humor is often based on laughing at the unfortunate events of others.
“So if you’re old, bald and limping like me, there’s your show!”, Says Avner Eisenberg, one of the most awaited artists by the public of the “Escena Mazatlán” International Theater Festival 2017.
Exceptions to gravity, does not use language, so that anyone can enjoy it whether they are children, young people or adults. They can be seen from simple tricks, to comedy of many decades ago, but all with the same goal of getting laughs without trying too much.
The trajectory of this singular world-class clown starts from his studies at the university, where instead of his parents forcing him to study a serious career, they chose the path of artistic entertainment.
Avner wanted to dedicate himself to the field of medicine but at the request of his parents and the discovery of the theater, he finished where he is now. Not only has he performed in different stages around the world, he also gives workshops to share his experience with his ups and downs that brought him to fame.
“I ask my students what they are afraid of and they all answer: Unless they are interesting, they bore the audience to the degree that they get up and leave. And I answered that the clown must fall to get up again in a unique way. You always have to be interested, not be interesting and force laughs. ”
When asked if the audience attending their presentations must meet some requirement, he said laughing: “Ladies and Gentlemen do not turn off their cell phones, this is just theater and we do not want you to miss an important call.”
This show does not use language, so that anyone can enjoy it whether they are children, young people or adults. They can be seen from simple tricks to comedy of many decades ago, but all with the same goal of making laughter without trying too much.
The show is for people over 9 years old and tickets have a cost of $ 100.00 available at the box office. Tel. 982 44 46 ext. 103
